Consumer expenditure by South Koreans on food, beverages and tobacco reached to US$ 82.7 Billion in 2006 and is forecasted to grow at a CAGR of approx. 8% during 2007 to 2011.
It is expected that fruit consumption will increase at a CAGR of 4.33% for the period spanning from 2007-2011, highest among all the food products taken in this report.
The market will continue to grow, largely contributed by growth in the developing countries such as India and China. Asia-Pacific will have increased activity in terms of production and demand.
